Refund & Cancellation

A monthly software subscription that auto-renews, cancels in one click, and does not refund partial months — with genuine billing errors always made right. The detail is below so none of it is a surprise.

01The short version

This page is deliberately blunt, because a subscription policy that has to be decoded is a bad one. In full:

  • QuantEdge Terminal costs $149.00 USD per month and renews automatically until you cancel it.
  • You can cancel at any time, in under a minute, from the billing page. No email, no phone call, no retention process.
  • Cancelling stops future charges. It does not refund the month you are already in — you keep access until that period ends.
  • Partial months are not refunded, and there is no refund for unused time or for a month you simply did not log in.
  • Genuine billing errors — a duplicate charge, a charge after cancellation, a charge at the wrong amount — are refunded.

02How billing works

Auto-renewal disclosure

Your subscription is $149.00 USD per month, charged on the day you subscribe and again on the same day of every following month, automatically, until you cancel. There is no fixed term and no separate confirmation step before each renewal.

If you subscribed with a valid promotion code, your price is $49.00 USD per month and renews on the same automatic monthly basis for the life of that subscription.

All charges are processed by Stripe. Every charge produces a Stripe receipt sent to the email address on your account, and every past invoice is viewable in the Stripe customer portal. The operator never sees or stores your card number.

There is no free trial at present, so the first charge occurs immediately at sign-up. Subscription fees do not include taxes or any fee your own bank or card issuer may add, such as a foreign transaction fee — those are not refundable by the operator.

03How to cancel

Cancellation is self-service and takes effect immediately as an instruction to stop future billing:

  1. Sign in to your QuantEdge account.
  2. Open the billing page.
  3. Select Manage subscription. This opens the Stripe customer portal, where your subscription and invoices live.
  4. Choose Cancel subscription and confirm.

Stripe will email you a confirmation. If you did not receive one, assume the cancellation did not go through and check the billing page again.

What happens next

  • No further charges are made.
  • Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for — you are not cut off the moment you cancel.
  • After that date, access ends and the account becomes inactive. Your data is retained as described in the Privacy Policy unless you also ask for deletion.
  • You can resubscribe later at the then-current price. A promotional price is not guaranteed to still be available.

If you cannot reach the portal for any reason — you have lost account access, for example — email ryderngarcia@gmail.com from the address on the account and the subscription will be cancelled manually. Send this before your renewal date; a request that arrives after a renewal has already been charged is handled under the refund section below.

04Refund policy

QuantEdge Terminal is a monthly software subscription that is delivered immediately and can be cancelled at any time, so the default position is straightforward:

Default position

Subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial months and for time you did not use. Cancelling stops future billing rather than reversing a charge already made.

Because cancellation is one click away and available at any moment, the practical effect is that the most you are ever exposed to is the month you are currently in.

What is refunded

Billing mistakes are the operator’s problem, not yours. A full refund will be issued where:

  • you were charged more than once for the same billing period (duplicate charge);
  • you were charged after cancelling, or a cancellation failed to take effect through no fault of your own;
  • you were charged the wrong amount, or a promotion code you validly applied was not honoured — in which case the difference is refunded;
  • a technical fault on the operator’s side made the Service substantially unusable for an extended part of a billing period.

Any other situation is considered individually and in good faith. If something happened that you think warrants a refund and it is not listed above, write in and explain it; requests are read by a person, not a policy engine.

What is not refunded

To be clear about the limits, so that nothing here is a surprise:

  • partial or unused portions of a month, including where you cancel immediately after a renewal;
  • months in which you simply did not use the Service or forgot the subscription was active;
  • money you lost, failed to win, or were unable to stake with any third party. The Service displays information and never handles wagers or funds — see the risk disclaimer;
  • an opportunity that closed before you could act on it, an odds price that changed, or a sportsbook voiding, limiting, refusing, or closing your bet or account. None of these are within the operator’s control and no profit is guaranteed;
  • dissatisfaction with the number of opportunities detected in a given period. Opportunity volume depends on the market and cannot be promised;
  • charges added by your own bank or card issuer, and taxes.

05How to request a refund

  1. Email ryderngarcia@gmail.com from the address on your account.
  2. Include the date and amount of the charge, and the last four digits of the card or the Stripe receipt number — both appear on the receipt Stripe emailed you.
  3. Say briefly what happened.

Requests are acknowledged within 2–3 business days. Where a refund is approved it is issued through Stripe to the original payment method; funds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. Refunds cannot be issued to a different card or by any other method.

Please email before opening a dispute or chargeback with your bank. A genuine billing error can usually be fixed within a couple of days, whereas a chargeback takes weeks and results in the account being suspended while it is resolved.

06Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated. The version in force is the one published here on the date of your charge, and this page always shows when it was last updated. Material changes are notified by email to the address on your account before they take effect.

This policy forms part of the Terms of Service. Nothing in it limits any statutory refund or consumer right you may have where you live that cannot lawfully be limited.
